Medical Content Reviewer / Health Writer (Remote)

We are looking for a detail-oriented Freelance Nurse to support medical content development and review for digital health platforms, blogs, patient education materials, and training resources. This is a fully remote role suited for nurses who have a passion for writing, research, and ensuring accurate health information is shared with the public.

In this role, you will review medical articles, patient guides, and health-related content to ensure clinical accuracy, clarity, and relevance. You may also be required to create original content on topics such as disease prevention, maternal and child health, chronic illness management, and general wellness.

The ideal candidate should have strong research skills, the ability to simplify complex medical information for a general audience, and a keen eye for detail. You will collaborate with editors, designers, and digital teams to produce high-quality, reliable health content.

Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution
Valid Nursing Council of Kenya license (active or recently active preferred)
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Ability to translate medical terminology into simple, easy-to-understand language
Good research skills and familiarity with evidence-based healthcare information
Experience in medical writing, blogging, or content creation is an added advantage
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
Basic computer skills and familiarity with tools like Google Docs, Microsoft Word, or CMS platforms
Interest in public health education and digital health communication
