Freelance High School Mathematics Teacher

We are seeking a qualified and results-driven Freelance Mathematics Teacher to support high school students in mastering key mathematical concepts in line with the Kenyan secondary school curriculum. This role involves delivering structured lessons, revision sessions, and exam preparation support for students preparing for national examinations.

The teacher will be responsible for simplifying complex topics such as algebra, calculus, trigonometry, and statistics, while also helping students develop problem-solving skills and confidence in mathematics. The role may include both online and occasional in-person sessions depending on student needs.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about teaching, able to adapt to different student learning levels, and committed to improving academic performance through engaging and interactive methods.

Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Mathematics) or related field
Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC)
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at the secondary school level
Strong understanding of the Kenyan high school curriculum (KCSE)
Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts clearly
Good communication and classroom management skills
Experience in exam preparation and revision strategies
Ability to deliver lessons physically or online
Strong commitment to student success
